The Ohio chapters of Braver Angels, a group aiming to heal the nation's polarization, are holding a special "Families & Politics Workshop" on Saturday, Sept. 11, from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. online.
The goals:
- Gain insight into why family differences over politics are uniquely challenging.
- Recognize common family roles taken in political discussions (i.e. Gladiator, Defender, Sniper).
- Learn strategies and skills to handle family political differences in a constructive way.
- Develop attitudes, words, and ways to talk with “others” on the political side.
