Xavier University announced its complete 2021-22 men's basketball non-conference schedule Wednesday.
The Musketeers have 11 non-conference games – eight at Cintas Center – scheduled for the upcoming season.
"The Musketeers hope to return their home to full capacity this season after the (COVID-19) pandemic reduced access last season," said a press release announcing the non-conference schedule.
The regular-season opener is Nov. 9 at home against Niagara. Xavier will have a home exhibition game, but that information hasn't been released yet.
Kent State comes to Cintas Center on Nov. 12, followed by Ohio State on Nov. 18 in the Gavitt Games, and Norfolk State on Nov. 21.
Then the Musketeers head to the Barclays Center in New York for the Preseason NIT on Nov. 24 and Nov. 26 against a field of Memphis, Virginia Tech and Iowa State.
Xavier returns home to host Central Michigan on Dec. 1, then heads on the road for the Big East-Big 12 Battle at Oklahoma State on Dec. 5.
The Musketeers wrap up the non-conference slate with three games at home on Dec. 8 against Ball State, Dec. 11 against Cincinnati in the Skyline Chili Crosstown Shootout, and Dec. 15 against Morehead State.
Game times and TV information will be released at a later date as well as the complete Big East Conference portion of the schedule.
