Have you heard the news? Cincinnati is rated one of the top 10 cities in the whole country to see and have we got the tour for you! Whether you have lived here all your life or just visiting, the new streetcar is the way to see it all. 3 hour guided tour, streetcar pass and food $59.00
Are you ready for a fun filled 3 hour culinary adventure? We begin in the Banks, home to the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals and beautiful Smale riverfront park, where we share the rich history of the city with entertaining stories and old photos of the Queen City of the West.
We board the streetcar to our first tasting right in the heart of downtown Cincinnati. As we stroll to the 'backstage entertainment' district we view story high colorful murals highlighting the famous citizens and events of Cincinnati.
We're now in view of the Aronoff Center, which brings a little bit of Broadway right to our door. In sight are dozens of restaurants and although our restaurants vary from tour to tour, each one is locally owned and delicious.
To whet your appetite, how about a gourmet burger bar made of chuck, sirloin and brisket topped with a homemade tomato jam, bacon, taleggio cheese and grilled onions!
Have you ever visited a Scottish Pub? We have a replica of the Cafe Royal in Edinburgh, Scotland. Next door is a century old restored hotel that features amazing art! Their signature dish is a burnt carrot salad and you've never tasted anything as good! Speaking of art, we have stories to tell about the Contemporary Art Center. The best is it's free!
Located on Fountain Square is an Italian restaurant with the best homemade meatballs in town. A few blocks north is a quaint and quirky restaurant operating continuously since 1861, so you know the food is special here!
We hop on the streetcar to Over the Rhine, a foodie's paradise! We are now in little Germany, full of Italianate 19th century architecture. As we stroll this vibrant and energetic neighborhood, we enjoy a few sweet treats from some of the most innovative bakeries in town. We also have access to those "hard to get a seat" places on our afternoon tour, from a well known taco restaurant to a converted church made into a brewery.
We ride by beautiful Washington Park, an urban oasis full of colorful gardens, right across the street from the jewel of the neighborhood, Music Hall. On to our final destination, Findlay Market. We experience the sights, the aromas and the colorful stalls of the oldest market in Ohio. The market is surrounded by local entrepreneurs featuring award winning chocolate, a sixth generation German butcher, exclusive cheese and fudge shop and a gluten free French bakery. As our tour comes to a close, you now have an all day streetcar pass to explore the city. We are ready to answer any questions, offer suggestions or escort you back to our original meeting place.
