Milwaukee Brewers prospect and former Cincinnati Bearcats standout Joey Wiemer drove in a run for the National League in the final inning of Saturday's 2022 MLB All-Star Futures Game.
Wiemer lined out deep to right fielder Denzel Clarke in both of his plate appearances. In the 7th inning, Clarke made an outstanding catch against the wall to rob Wiemer of extra bases, but the drive was deep enough to score Pete Crow-Armstrong and cut the American League's lead to 6-4, which was the final score.
