It is Week 1 of the college football season if you're willing to give a pass to FOX, but fans watching the Ohio State-Minnesota broadcast Thursday night might have been confused when former Winton Woods High School standout Miyan Williams got credit for a nine-point touchdown on Buckeyes teammate TreVeyon Henderson's 70-yard catch and run for a score in the fourth quarter of OSU's 45-31 win.
It was captured and shared in a tweet by @PerkinsPenguins:
Williams, a redshirt freshman and Cincinnati native, did score OSU's first touchdown of the game on a 71-yard run. It was Williams' first touchdown as a Buckeye. After finishing last season with 64 yards on 10 attempts over four games, Williams finished his first game of this season with 125 rushing yards on just nine carries.
