Rams fan sends letter to Bengals about Cincinnati fans


A Rams season ticket holder sent a letter to the Cincinnati Bengals to say how impressed he was with Bengals fans.The Cincinnati Bengals shared Elliot Kozolchyk's letter on their website Wednesday.Kozolchyk started his letter by congratulating the Bengals on an awesome season. He then said the reason he was writing the letter was to say how impressed Bengals fans represented their team and the city of Cincinnati.Kozolchyk said he's seen numerous NFL games at SoFi Stadium to cheer for the Rams and he's often seen "disturbing behavior and antics" from fans of teams who are playing against the Rams. He said, however, Bengals fans were "amazing."The Rams fan interacted with a number of Bengals fans in the parking lot, at pre-game activities and while watching the game."I have never experienced such nice, kind, polite fans of the opposing team ever at a Rams game," Kozolchyk said in his letter.Related video above: Historic Bengals season ignites community, businesses around CincinnatiHe said he saw tears in Bengals' fans eyes and many amazed faces that they were at the Super Bowl and inside SoFi Stadium. Kozolchyk became friendly with several Bengals fans as they talked about football, the season, how they got tickets, how long they were staying in Los Angeles and L.A. traffic.Bengals fans would also show Kozolchyk photos and videos of their kids on the cellphones who were screaming "Who Dey.""And it was EVERY fan of the Bengals. I couldn't believe it, just so nice," Kozolchyk wrote.The Los Angeles Rams ended up beating the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20 at the Super Bowl.According to Kozolchyk, after the game, countless Bengals fans shook his hand and offered congratulations."What? You want to shake my hand? You just lost the game. I was taken aback. Didn't matter to Bengals fans, they showed absolute perfect sportsmanship and displayed such courteous behavior I will never forget," Kozolchyk said.He said his Super Bowl experience was unforgettable because the Rams won and also because of all the kind Bengals fans."Hats off and much respect for your fans and your city. I only can wish that more opposing fans that come to L.A. are as great as yours," Kozolchyk wrote. "My second favorite team in the NFL is now the Cincinnati Bengals."
