PROVIDENCE, R.I. – A lot of games get categorized as instant classics, but there was one that lived up to that title on Wednesday night at the Dunkin' Donuts Center.
No. 11 Providence came out on top, defeating Xavier 99-92 in triple overtime in a game that had four players foul out, a leaky roof that stopped play in the second half, and a buzzer-beating 3-pointer from Paul Scruggs to force triple overtime.
