In a vote that ended Feb. 18, Cincinnati.com readers selected the Cincinnati Enquirer Athletes of the Week, presented by Mercy Health, from high school sports action through Feb. 13.
Winners through the end of 2021 should have received a certificate through the school's athletic department. The newest certificates are currently being produced.

The Athlete of the Week voting occurs each week during all high school sports seasons and recognizes athletes across all sports. Send your nominations by Monday morning for this week's high school sports action.

The week's winners are:
Ohio boys basketball team: Turpin – Turpin topped West Clermont 87-48 before handing Walnut Hills its first conference loss, topping the Eagles 58-37 on Feb. 11.
Ohio girls basketball team: Lebanon – Despite dropping seven of eight games to end the regular season, Lebanon beat Colerain 46-30 on Feb. 12 to begin its postseason run.
Northern Kentucky boys basketball team: Covington Latin – The Trojans were down 9 points at the half in their game against DePaul Christo Rey Feb. 9. Fouled with zero seconds on the clock, junior Jackson Richardson scored two straight giving the Trojans their first victory in three years, spoiling the Bruins senior night and avenging a loss earlier in the season 67 - 20. Winning 44 - 43, the Trojans were 71% from the foul line.
Northern Kentucky girls basketball team: Bellevue – Bellevue improved to 15-8, beating Villa Madonna, Highlands and Carroll County before dropping its first game since Jan. 29 in a loss to Bracken County.
Boys winter team of the week: Roger Bacon wrestling – The Spartans had a pair of matches on Feb. 10, beating Walnut Hills 39-30 while also topping the combined Withrow/Hillcrest Academy team 54-6.
Girls winter team of the week: St. Ursula BowlDawgs – The girls finished conference play by beating Seton 2331-2285 Monday, Feb. 7. The girls also set a school record for high baker game (247). SUA's conference record is 7-1, which ties them for first place in the GGCL. The BowlDawgs also have three bowlers in the top 5 for average in the GGCL (First place - Alli Shattuck, 196.4; fourth place - Payton Beard, 177.1, fifth place - Lauren McConnell - 174.6).
Ohio boys basketball big school player: Dan Georgesen, Kings – He had 18 points and five assists in Kings’ 58-55 win over Anderson Feb. 11.
Ohio boys basketball small school player: Will Svendsen, Wyoming – The junior poured in 17 points off the bench in Wyoming’s 64-38 win over Finneytown Feb. 8.
Ohio girls basketball big school player: Anna Swisshelm, West Clermont – The junior had a double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds in the final regular-season game against Cincinnati Country Day. She has been in the top five scorers in the ECC all year averaging 15 points per game and also bringing in 5.2 rebounds per game.
Ohio girls basketball small school player: Lila Svendsen, Summit Country Day – The freshman had six points and pulled down a game-high 11 rebounds in Summit’s playoff win over Shroder Feb. 12.

Northern Kentucky/Indiana girls basketball player: Kay Freihofer, Cooper – She scored 18 points to lead Cooper to a 50-45 win over Anderson County, ranked sixth in the state, as part of a 3-0 week for the Jaguars.
Ohio boys big school bowler: Sean Kober, Lebanon – He bowled a 484 (254, 230) in the team win over Walnut Hills Feb. 8.
Ohio boys small school bowler: Lexington Hounshell, New Richmond – He bowled a 460 (199, 261) in the team win over McNicholas Feb. 8.
Ohio girls bowler: Cassandra Ingram, Lebanon – She bowled a 404 (210, 194) in the win over Kings Feb. 10
Gymnast: Natalie Reising, Anderson – She won the bars and all-around at the Cincinnati City Championships Feb. 12
Ice hockey: Owen Natorp, Mason – He scored two goals in the 5-4 loss to Troy Feb. 10.
Ohio DI boys swimmer/diver: Manuel Berry, West Clermont – He swam a personal-best split on the boys 200 medley and a personal best in the 100 breaststroke. Both swims were new school records and district-qualifying races.
Ohio DII boys swimmer/diver: Sam Adams, Seven Hills – He won the 100-yard backstroke at the Division II sectional meet Feb. 11-12 at Princeton.
Ohio DI girls swimmer/diver: Katie Fisher, Lebanon – The junior won the 200-yard Individual Medley and tied as the winner of the 100-yard breaststroke at the Division I sectional meet Feb. 11-12 at Mason.
Ohio DII girls swimmer/diver: Madison Stecher, Roger Bacon – She won the 500-yard freestyle at the Division I Princeton sectional meet Feb. 11-12.
Northern Kentucky boys swimmer/diver: Alex Warning, Dixie Heights – He finished second in the KHSAA boys diving championships. He also won the Region 7 boys diving competition with a total score of 491.90. He was also Super Regional 7-9 and had the highest score in the state going into the state meet.
Northern Kentucky girls swimmer/diver: Rylee Pernell, Scott – She finished fifth in the KHSAA girls diving championships.
Ohio boys wrestling: Trent Kellerman, Williamsburg – The senior won the 175-pound weight class Feb. 12 during the Dixie Invitational Feb. 12 at New Lebanon Dixie.
Northern Kentucky/Indiana boys wrestling: Cooper Elliston, Conner – The senior won the regional championship at 215.
Girls wrestling: Erin Martin, Walnut Hills – She took first place in the 155-pound weight class at the Southwest District Girls Wrestling Tournament Feb. 13 at Harrison High school, advancing to state.
Boys archer: Mason Hammond, Simon Kenton – He shot 291 at the Boone County High School archery tournament and finished in second place in the boys high school division while leading his team to a first-place finish.
Girls archer: Emma Vickers, Simon Kenton – She shot 282 at the Boone County High School archery tournament and finished in first place in the girls high school division while leading her team to a first-place finish.
