In a vote that ended Dec. 3, Cincinnati.com readers selected the Cincinnati Enquirer Athletes of the Week, presented by Mercy Health, from high school sports action through Nov. 28.
Winners through Oct. 1 should have received a certificate through the school's athletic department. The next round will come out in a few weeks.

Here are this week's top choices:
Football team: Winton Woods – The Warriors forced four turnovers in the red zone to beat Green 20-7 and advance to the Division II state title game.
Football player: Jack Walsh, Badin – The senior running back had 43 carries for 226 yards and two touchdowns in Badin’s 14-0 win over Granville Nov. 26 in the Division III state semifinal match.
Boys basketball team: Purcell Marian – Outscoring Fenwick 18-11 in the third quarter led Purcell Marian to a tight 59-58 win over the former conference rival.
Girls basketball team: Purcell Marian – Facing two of Ohio’s top girls hoops programs, Purcell Marian improved to 3-0 on the year, beating Africentric 64-50 and Newark 57-34.
Boys winter team: Batavia bowling – The Bulldogs picked up a pair of conference wins, topping Goshen 2,620-2,392 and Wilmington 2624-2507.
Girls winter team: Ursuline Academy bowling – Ursuline Academy rolled by Mason 1,964-1,312 on Nov. 22.
Ohio big-school boys basketball: Alexander Parks, Withrow – The junior guard scored 27 points in the 58-55 loss to Mt. Healthy Nov. 27, adding 8 rebounds and 6 steals. He also led the team to a 69-61 win over Dayton Ponitz Nov. 26 with 10 rebounds, 2 blocks and 4 steals.
Ohio small-school boys basketball: Jayden Small, Purcell Marian – He had 22 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and a steal in the 59-58 win over Fenwick Nov. 27.
Ohio big-school girls basketball: Mia Nienaber, McNicholas – She scored 22 points in the 58-50 loss to Mariemont Nov. 22, adding 3 rebounds.
Ohio small-school girls basketball: Lindsey Arwine, Williamsburg – She leads the Southern Buckeye Athletic and Academic Conference with a 20.5 points per game average after scoring 21 in the 42-35 win over Bethel-Tate Nov. 22, adding 7 rebounds and 2 steals.
Boys bowler: Drew Olivia, Batavia – He had a 457 series in the 2,620-2,393 win over Goshen Nov. 22
Girls bowler: Maria Lea, Ursuline – The junior led the Lions to victory over Mason with a score of 390.
Ice hockey: Brady Shaw, Moeller – He got his first varsity goal to bring the score to 2-2, the final score with Walsh Jesuit Nov. 28.
Wrestler: Braidin Green, Holmes – He went 4-1 at a dual meet tournament hosted by Frankfort Western Hills, pinning four opponents and only losing to one of Campbell County’s top wrestlers, 9-2.
