After a week off, the University of Cincinnati men's basketball team looks to extend its winning streak to five games in Houston against the No. 6/5 (Associated Press/Coaches) Cougars.
Houston (17-3, 11-3 AAC) is coming off a 68-63 loss Thursday night at Wichita State.
Point guard David DeJulius, freshman guard Mike Saunders Jr., senior preseason first-team All-AAC performer Keith Williams, former Moeller High School standout Jeremiah Davenport and 7-foot-1 center Chris Vogt start for the Bearcats (7-7, 5-4).
Cincinnati hits its first four field goals, including 3-for-3 from 3-point range, and leads 13-8 at the first media timeout. Davenport has two of the made 3-pointers.
