The Indiana Pacers announced Friday night that they exercised the team option on Edmond Sumner's contract for the 2021-22 season.
It will be the fifth season with the Pacers for Sumner, who starred at Xavier University (2014-17).
Sumner posted career-highs last season in games played (53), minutes per game (16.2) and points (7.5).
According to the IndyStar, the option on Sumner's contract is worth $2.32 million.
