Hot and sunny Father's Day
it's great because I don't have to be good at either of them to have fun. It's like duckpin bowling, like nobody's gonna duckpin bowling. How do you know? You don't have to go to either of them because I do it and I have a lot of fun and I'm not gonna do that. That's the way I look at it. But no let's talk about what we're gonna be expecting for Father's Day because it's gonna be a lot different than yesterday drying out. Which is great because here's a look at some of the rainfall totals that we saw starting friday afternoon evening Into Saturday morning. About 4-5 in is the average. I think the majority of the area saw this pretty good range 4-5. There were several places though that actually ended up seeing more. I got a lot of reports of people having to dump out their rain gauge because it was completely full when they woke up on Saturday. So the good news is today. Not much of an issue. Maybe a quick pop up shower or storm later this afternoon, But that's just gonna be because it's so hot and humid out there. Most of us stay dry and sunny now tomorrow and more organized system moves in with this cold front that's gonna sweep through. That's gonna bring widespread showers and storms, especially to the eastern portions of our area right now. Though, not much to worry about. You had some showers roll through Hillsboro earlier they're gone. You also had some clusters of downpours and rumbles of thunder up to the north. What we've been focused on is further out here to the west. All things to that cold front that I was talking about that will eventually roll through the area that will bring a shower storms and potentially potentially some severe weather. I'll get to that here in just a second sunny skies out there today and that is the case for most of your sunday and Father's Day. So anything you've got going on, you should be just fine temperatures right now. Sitting at 71 winds out of the southwest about 5 to 10 MPH. That feels like temperature sitting at 71 as well. But that feels like temperature will eventually be about 95 possibly 96 this afternoon, 70 in Wilmington, 72 in Hamilton in the sixties, still in Walton. But that's going to quickly change now that that sun's coming up expect the hot and humid day. So later on this afternoon, right around noon for the lunch hour, you're sitting at 82 sunny skies. It's already gonna be hot, topping out at 90. So anything you've got going on outside for the most part, you'll be fine. Just drink lots of water, Make sure you're drinking. Makes you have the sunscreen on as well because you're gonna need to stay hydrated and make sure you're protecting yourself from that sun as we get the heat, humidity sneaking back in 90 degrees. That means we're gonna have that chance for a pop up showers storm. Not a great chance though. That will change tomorrow as that cold front rolls through a pretty good chance for some showers and storms, especially the windy conditions. Thanks to that front. Let's time it all out here on Future Cast today. Future Cast not picking up on anything. Hopefully that's the case. Hopefully we stay completely dry. I do think because of those main ingredients humidity will have a chance to see a quick downpour pop up in a few areas. Most of us stay dry though. You wake up tomorrow morning, you could have a brief shower starting at about 89 A. M. That's going to be out in front of that cold front. Not much of an issue, Most of the area is gonna stay dry. That'll be the case up until about noon one o'clock. A few showers not out of the question. Once we get to noon one o'clock we're gonna start to see that cold front interact with all that heat, all of that moisture. And we're gonna see these storms really start to fire up, especially if you are east of Cincinnati, If you kind of slice the area and half in a diagonal, anybody to the east is going to have that much better chance, especially down there in northern Kentucky to see several rounds of downpours have a few thunderstorms not out of the question as well, to possibly see some flooding. Good news is most of southeastern indiana, which saw the most rain yesterday stays dry just a little bit longer so that will help them out in terms of the strong storms and potential severe issue. That'll be off to the east eventually though everybody does see some rain late tomorrow evening into the overnight hours. Your severe threat tomorrow kind of slices in the slices the area and half like I said, so just a marginal risk scale of 1-5. That's a one, maybe an isolated severe thunderstorm. Not out of the question. Once that front moves out, we see a beautiful middle part of the work week 73 and 74 on Tuesday and Wednesday Low 80s on Thursday. Right, that's gonna quit mm. Yeah.
A MIXTURE OF FOOTBALL AND BOWLING, YOU TOWHR A FOOTBALL TO KNOCK DOWN THE PINS. CAMERON: YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE GREAT AT EITHER TO KNOCK DOWN THE PINS. LET’S TALK ABOUT WHAT TO EXPECT FOR FATHER’S DAY. DRYING OUT, SOME OF THE RAINFALL TOTALS WE SAW STARTING FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING IO SATURDAY MORNING. FOUR TO FIVE INCHES IS THE AVERAGE. THE MAJORITY OF THE AARE AND THERE WERE SEVERAL AREAS WITH A LOT OF REPORTS OF PEOPLE HAVING TO DUMP OUT THE RAIN GAUGE BECAUSE ITAS COMPLETELY FULL WHEN THEY WOKE UP SATURDAY. TODAY NOT MUCH OF AN ISSUE. THAT WILBEL BECAUSE IT’S SO HOT AND HUMID. A MORE ORGANIZED SYSTEM MOVES IN WITH THIS COLD FRONT THAT LLWI SWEEP THROUGH. WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND STORMS IN THE EASTERN PORTIONS OF OUR AREA. SOME SHOWERS ROLLED THROUGH HILLSBORO WITH CLUSTERS OF DOWNPOURS AND RUMBLES OF THUNDER TO THE NORTH. SHOWERS AND STORMS ROLL THROUGH THE AREA AND BRING US SOME POTENTIALLY SEVERE WEATHER. ANHIYTNG YOU HAVE GOT GOING ON YOU SHOULD BE JUST FINE. TEMPERATURES SITTING AT 71IT WH WIND OUT OF THE SOUTHWEST AT FIVE TO 10 MILES PER HOUR. THE FIELDS LIKE TEMPERATURE WILL EVENTUALLY BE AT 95 OR 96 THIS AFTERNOON. 70N I WILMINGTON AND 72 IN HAMILTON. NOW THAT ETH SUN IS COMING UP EXPECT A HOT AND HUMID DAY. RIGHT AROUND NOON SITTING AT 82 WITH SUNNYES SKI TOPPING OUT AT 90 .ANYTHING OUTSIDE LOTS OF WATER AND MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE SUNSCRNEE ON AS WELL BECAUSE YOU WILL NEED TO STAY HYDRATED AND MAKE SURE YOU PROTECT YOURSELF FROM T SHEUN. HEAT AND HUMIDITY SNEAKING BACK IN AND 90 DEGREES MEANS WE HAVE A CHANCE FOR A POP-UP UP SHOWER OR STORM. TOMORROW AS THE COLD FRONT ROLLS THUGHRO A PRETTY GOOD CHANCE FOR SHOWERS AND STORM AND WINDY CONDITIONS THANKS TO THAT FRONT. HOPEFULLY YOU WILL BE STAYING COMPLETELY DRY. I THINK BECAUSE OF THE HUMIDITY WE WILL HAVE A CHANCE FOR A QUICK DOWNPOUR TO POP UP. TOMORROW MORNGNI YOU COULD HAVE A BRIEF SHEROW STARTING AT 8:00 OR 9:00 A. OM.UT IN FRONT OF THAT COLD FRONT WITH NOT MUCH OF AN ISSUE AND MOST OF THE AREA STAYGINRY D UP UNTIL NOON OR 1:00. ONCE WE GET TO NOON OR 1:00 WE WILL SEE THAT COLD FRONT INTERACT WITH THAT HEAT AND MOISTURE AND WE WILL SEE STORM START TO FIRE UP. ESPECIALLY EASOFT CINCINNATI ANYONE TO ETH EAST WILL HAVE A MUCH BETTER CHANCE ESPECIALLY IN NORTRNHE KENTUCKY TO SEE SEVERAL ROUNDS OF DOWNPOURS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS NOT OUT OF THE QUESTION. MOSTF O SOUTHEASTERN INDIANA WHICH SAW THE MOST RAIN YESTERDAY STAYS D ARY LITTLE LONGER. IN TERMS OF STNGRO STORMS AND THE POTENTIAL SEVERE ISSUE THAT WILL BE OFF TO THE EAST. SLICING THE AREA IN HALF WITH A MARGINAL RISK AT ONE TO FIVE, MAY BE AN ISOLATED SEVEER THUNDERSTORM NOT OUT OF THE QUESTION. ONCE THE FRONT M
