CINCINNATI (WKRC) - The man accused of killing an innocent victim while trying to shoot another person appeared in court Wednesday. Joshua Ervin is charged with the murder of Neko Larkin.
Ervin was trying to shoot someone else on Aug. 17 when he allegedly fired the shot that killed Larkin on a Metro bus on Dana Avenue. The bus driver drove Larkin and the other passengers to UC Medical Center but he died from his injury.
Larkin was on his way home from one of his two jobs. He was also a student at Cincinnati State.
Ervin was on probation for previous gun charge convictions at the time of the shooting.
A judge set bond at $2 million for the murder charge. Ervin is also locked up on a $100,000 bond.
