Of all the cities with NFL teams, Cincinnati is the overall cheapest football city to live in, according to a new report released by Rent.com.
The report examined the population and average rent prices of one- and two-bedroom apartments for the 30 cities with NFL teams to determine where die-hard fans could live for the lowest cost.
Rent prices were based on a one-year rolling weighted average from Apartment Guide and Rent.com's multifamily rental property inventory of one-bedroom apartments as of August 2021.

The report found that the cheapest cities were in the Midwest, including in Ohio, Wisconsin, Indiana and Kansas, and the most expensive cities were on the East Coast, in New York, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C.
Cincinnati edged out Green Bay, Wisconsin, to take the top spot, with Rent.com reporting the average price of a one-bedroom apartment as $1,033 and a two-bedroom apartment as $1,238 per month.

In Ohio, Cleveland was ranked 12th, with the average one-bedroom rent at $1,443 and a two-bedroom apartment at $1,949 per month.
And no surprise here, but New York City, home of the Giants and the Jets, was the most expensive city, with a one-bedroom averaging $4,510 and a two-bedroom averaging $6,931, more than quadruple what it costs to rent in Cincinnati.
