Things to do in Cincinnati on Labor Day weekend: Riverfest and more

Labor Day weekend sure snuck up on us (again) this year. Time flies whether you're having fun or not, so why not have a little fun? If your main goal this weekend isn't putting a big dent in your patio furniture, the Cincinnati area has plenty of things to get out and into. 

A tradition returns to its rightful glory as the Riverfest party and fireworks show float back between the bridges of the Ohio River. The Reds and FC Cincy are in town. Renaissance Festival is back. Brooks & Dunn make their return to Riverbend. Monster trucks will be jumping over things. It's a packed weekend with something for everyone. Here are the biggies.

Riverfest returns to the Ohio River this year.

Riverfest/Western & Southern WEBN Fireworks, Sunday, Sawyer Point Park and Yeatman's Cove, Mehring Way, Downtown, and Festival Park, Newport. Fireworks launch at 9 p.m. from barges on the Ohio River.
