The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends all students older than 2 years old and all school staff should wear face masks at school, unless medical or developmental conditions prohibit use.“The District will require all students, staff, and visitors to wear masks inside buildings and on school buses for the start of the 2021-2022 school year based on recommendations from The American Academy of Pediatrics, guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and in consultation with Columbus Public Health,” a statement from the district reads in part.Anyone older than 2, regardless of vaccination student, will be required to wear a face mask, unless other conditions prohibit their use.School districts like Deer Park and Cincinnati Public Schools are waiting, not yet deciding on masks rules yet.
