Brent Spence Bridge is 2nd most congested bottleneck

The American Transportation Research Institute released its ratings of the worst bottlenecks in the country this week, with the Brent Spence listed as No. 2.

Would you believe that the Brent Spence Bridge is the second most congested bottleneck in the country? Who would've guessed? Certainly not anyone from Greater Cincinnati who dreads getting stuck crossing the river on our functionally obsolete bridge.

The American Transportation Research Institute released its ratings of the worst bottlenecks in the country this week, with the Brent Spence listed as No. 2.

We've all known that the bridge is way past time to be replaced. But with a lack of public funds from Kentucky, which owns the bridge, and a constant plea for federal dollars that never arrive, it's unlikely that the Brent Spence will be replaced any time soon.
