Traditionally, not much is open on Christmas Day. Options are even more limited during the coronavirus pandemic as some places that have been open in the past are taking the day off.
Not to worry. There are a few festive attractions and a handful of stores open for any last-minute merriments, and we have what you need to know about what’s open, and what’s not, on Christmas.

Grocery, stores
Kroger, Target and Walmart are closed on Christmas Day, as usual, along with Dollar General and the other dollar store chains.
That leaves United Dairy Farmers, CVS and Walgreens open for that one missing ingredient for Christmas dinner.
Coffee
Many Starbucks locations are open limited hours on Christmas, if you need a peppermint mocha to make it through the day.
Movie theaters
All AMC, Cinemark, Esquire, Mariemont and Showcase Cinema locations are open Christmas Day. And, a rarity during the pandemic, there are even some new releases on the big screen: “Wonder Woman 1984,” “News of the World” and “Promising Young Woman.”
