CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- Cincinnati's archdiocese expects an investigation by the Vatican following a local priest being charged with rape.
Fr. Geoff Drew is now in jail, charged with child rape and possibly more crimes involving sexual abuse of children.
The archdiocese expects the investigation to focus, though, on how Bishop Joe Binzer and Archbishop Dennis Schnurr mishandled complaints about Drew. Pope Francis promised such investigations earlier in 2019.
