ODOT: Lane closures take effect along State Route 48 for two-week construction project in Lebanon

IT TURNS OUT ONE OF THE SHOOTERS HIT ALL OF THE INJURED BYSTANDERS. THE OTHER HIT NO ONE. ONLY ONE OF THEM APPEARED IN COURT TODAY. JARVIS BARNES IS 34 YEARS OLD AND IS CHARGED WITH 7 COUNTS OF FELONIOUS ASSAULT AND HAVING WEAPONS UNDER DISABILITY. HE HAD 7 NEW COUNTS ADDED TODAY FOR SHOOTING ACROSS A ROADWAY. BARNS FIRED OFF AT LEAST 7 SHOTS INTO THE CROWD. PROSECUTORS SAY HE DIDN’T HIT ANYONE. HE HAS A LONG CRIMINAL RECORD INCLUDING TAMPERING WITH EVIDENCE, FELONY THEFT, CARRYING CONSEALED WEAPONS, HAVING WEAPONS UNDER DISABILITY. HE WAS IDENTIFIED IN THE SURVELIENE VIDEO. NOW DIABLO MCCOATS 29 WAIVED HIS APPEARANCE. HE WASN’T THERE. HE IS CHARGED WITH 16 COUNTS OF FELONIOUS ASSAULT AND HAVING WEAPONS UNDER DISABILITY. PROSECUTORS SAID MCCOATS FIRED AT LEAST 8 SHOTS AND HIT 8 PEOPLE. HE WAS THE NINTH PERSON INJURED WHEN AN OFFICER FIRED AND SHOT HIM IN THE LEG. THE JUDGE RAISED THE BOND ON BOTH MEN. BRIAN: BARNS BOND WENT FROM 250 THOUSAND DOLLARS TO $500,000. MCCOATS, THE GUY ACCUSED OF HITTING ALL 8 VICTIMS HIS WENT FROM $100,000 TO THERE IS ONE $750,000. SUSPECT STILL ON THE LOOSE. CINCINNATI POLICE HAVE IDENTIFIED THE VICTIM AS 30-YEAR-OLD DENENO CHRISTOPHER. A SECOND VICTIM IS IN THE HOSPITAL IN SERIOUS CONDITION. POLICE SAY IT IS UNCLEAR WHAT LED UP TO THE SHOOTING OR IF ANYONE ELSE WAS INVOLVED. A HAMILTON COUNTY GRAND JURY HAS INDICTED A MAN ACCUSED OF STABBING HIS CO-WORKER TO DEATH. COURT DOCUMENTS SAY JAN TOLENTINO STABBED PARIS DISMUKES IN THE NECK AFTER CLOSING AT THE BJ’S BREWHOUSE IN SPRINGDALE LAST WEEK. TOLENTINO SAID HE DID IT, BECAUSE A WITCH TOLD HIM DISMUKES WAS GOING TO SHOOT HIM IN THE HEAD. YESTERDAY, TOLENTINO WAS INDICTED ON THREE CHARGES OF MURDER AND FELONIOUS ASSAULT. HE’S BEING HELD ON HALF A MILLION DOLLARS BOND. THE WARREN COUNTY WOMAN FOUND GUILTY OF BURYING THE BODY OF THE BABY SHE CLAIMS WAS STILLBORN WANTS HER CONVICTION SEALED. IN 2019, BROOKE SKYLAR RICHARDSON WAS CONVICTED ON A FELONY CHARGE OF GROSS ABUSE OF A CORPSE AND SENTENCED TO THREE YEARS PROBATION. IN 2020 -- 2017 SHE WAS 18 YEARS OLD AND SECRETLY GAVE BIRTH TO A BABY GIRL AT HER FAMILY’S HOME IN CARLISLE. RICHARDSON SAID THE BABY WAS STILLBORN AND BURIED THE REMAINS IN THE BACKYARD. SHE WAS ACQUITTED OF MOST CHARGES INCLUDING AGGRAVATED MURDER. THE JUDGE HAS NOT RULED ON THE MOTION TO SEAL THE ABUSE OF CORPSE CONVICTION. TWO FORMER FRATERNITY MEMBERS ARE SENTENCED TO JAIL TIME FOR HAZING RELATED CHARGES IN THE DEATH OF A BOWLING GREEN STUDENT. THE TWO MEN WERE CONVICTED OF MISDEMEANOR COUNTS IN THE DEATH OF 20-YEAR-OLD STONE FOLTZ IN TROY HENRICKSEN AND JACOB KRINN 2021. WERE CONVICTED OF HAZING AND FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH UNDERAGE ALCOHOL LAWS AND SENTENCED TO 42 DAYS. KRINN WAS ALSO CONVICTED OF AN OBSTRUCTION CHARGE. POLICE SAY FOLTZ DIED AFTER DRINKING A FULL BOTTLE OF ALCOHOL AT A FRATERNITY PARTY. SIX OTHER FORMER MEMBERS OF THE FRATERNITY INCLUDING A LOVELAND MAN PLEADED GUILTY TO VARIOUS CHARGES. FIRST ON WLWT, NEW DRAMATIC VIDEO OF A MAN IN A STOLEN CAR WHO LED POLICE ON A WILD CHASE THAT ENDED WHEN HE SMASHED INTO ANOTHER CAR, TRAPPING A MOM AND HER TWO KIDS INSIDE. HERE IS WHERE IT STARTED ON I-70 51 POLICE TRIED TO PULL OVER A -- WHEN BLACK JEEP. THE DRIVER, TOOK OFF, SPEEDING OFF AN EXIT, AND INTO A WALMART PARKING LOT. THAT IS WHERE HE CRASHED INTO AN SUV SENDING IT ONTO ITS SIDE. THE DRIVER, NOW IDENTIFIED AS ANTHONY COOGLER TRIED TO TAKE OFF MAKING A RUN FOR THE STORE, UNTIL A MAN IN A COWBOY HAT GRABBED AND HELD HIM UNTIL POLICE GOT THERE. MEANWHILE, AN OFFICER TRIED TO KEEP THE FAMILY TRAPPED INSIDE THEIR CAR CALM WHILE WAITING FOR PARAMEDICS. I GOT THE FIRE DEPARTMENT >> COMING. >> WHAT HAPPENED? >> WE WERE HIT BABY. WHO HIT US? A detour will be available via the State Route 48 Bypass. During the closure, crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation will replace the bridge desk and increase its vertical clearance.
