Read this before the playoff

It's been 31 years since the Cincinnati Bengals won a playoff game. Nobody in the world had yet sent a text message, the second iteration of electric vehicles were yet to be a thing on the mid-1990s car market and George H.W. Bush was the President of the United States. 

Yet, here we are. 

There's been heartbreak, injuries, questionable calls and all other sorts of ill that befell the Bengals, yet they stand at the precipice of breaking what's been called the "Curse of Bo Jackson" around town.

Yes, the Bengals lost to the then-Los Angeles Raiders on Jan. 13, 1991. Jackson's hip was dislocated on a seemingly innocuous tackle by Bengals linebacker Kevin Walker and the legend was born.
