Cincinnati Bengals receiver Tee Higgins made an impressive, 52-yard reception from quarterback Joe Burrow - despite double coverage - with less than one minute remaining in the first half of Sunday's Week 16 game against the Baltimore Ravens at Paul Brown Stadium.
After officials reviewed the p, Higgins' catch was upheld. The second-year receiver scored on a 1-yard touchdown catch a short time later, giving him seven catches for 129 yards before halftime.
"That was spectacular! 52-yard reception to the 3(-yard line)! ... That is about as close of coverage as you're going to design," CBS play-by-play announcer Kevin Harlan said.
"That is the ultimate confidence you can have in a receiver when you throw into double coverage," CBS color analyst Trent Green added.
Higgins added his second TD reception of the game - and went over the 1,000-yard mark for the season - during the fourth quarter.
Burrow set a new franchise record with 525 passing yards in the 41-21 win.
Social media reactions:
Earlier in the first half, Higgins' teammate, Ja'Marr Chase, set the Bengals' new rookie receiving yardage record, breaking A.J. Green's mark set in 2011. And Tyler Boyd flipped into the end zone on a 68-yard touchdown catch early in the second quarter.
