Prosecutor: Members of motorcycle clubs accused of killing non-member wearing insignias

Multiple alleged members of two motorcycle clubs have now been arrested, accused of killing a man in Indiana earlier this month.State officials claim the members of the clubs killed a man who wore patches and tattoos of the motorcycle clubs, but was in fact not a member. Five people are now accused in the death of Dustin Lindner, 35, of Georgetown, Kentucky. Lindner was shot and killed June 22 in Dupont, Indiana, a small town about 80 miles west of Cincinnati.According to Jefferson County Prosecutor David Sutter, five people went to a home in Dupont — where Linder was believed to be — with the "intent to beat up" the 35-year-old and "take his property."But Lindner was armed, the prosecutor said, and a shootout ensued at the home. Lindner was pronounced dead.Following a short investigation, authorities announced Wednesday the arrest of five individuals in connection to the case. One of those individuals was arrested in Cleves Monday by the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office. Jason Brewer, 34; Gary Fletcher, 40; David Faulkner, 52; and Michael Karnuth, 32, each face charges of murder, attempted burglary, attempted robbery, obstruction of justice and criminal gang enhancement charges. Jordan Lowe, 26, has also been arrested on charges of assisting a criminal, obstruction of justice and criminal gang enhancement. Prosecutor Sutter said the five people arrested are members of motorcycle clubs "The Pagans" and "The Warlocks."Lindner was not believed to be affiliated with either club, the prosecutor said, but apparently wore the clubs' patches and had tattoos of their insignias.Brewer, Fletcher, Faulkner, Karnuth and Lowe all remain jailed pending their initial hearing. Multiple departments assisted with the investigation, including the Jefferson County Coroner's Office, Jefferson County Sheriff's Department, Jennings County Sheriff's Department, Ohio County Sheriff's Department, Rising Sun Police Department, North Vernon Police Department, Hamilton County (Ohio) Sheriff's Department, the Butler County (Ohio) Sheriff's Department and the Cincinnati Fugitive Task Force.
