The Cincinnati Bearcats begin their 2021-22 basketball season Tuesday night when they host the Evansville Purple Aces.
UC begins the Wes Miller era looking to make its first NCAA Tournament since 2019. The Bearcats finished last season with a 12-11 record under former coach John Brannen.
Evansville is beginning its second full season under head coach Todd Lickliter. Lickliter, a former head coach at Butler and Iowa, led the Purple Aces to a 9-16 record last year. Evansville hasn't qualified for the NCAA Tournament since 1999.
