The Springfield Township Police Department said one person was shot early Saturday morning.Officials said officers were called to the Elegant Event Center in the 9800 block of Hamilton Avenue around 2 a.m. for gunshots in the area.Responding officers found a 25-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound.The victim was taken to the hospital.
