A 77-year-old man was found Saturday, two days after he went missing out of Beavercreek.Officials said Jerry Hetzel, 77, who suffers from dementia, left his home Thursday and hadn't been seen since. North Star International K9 Search and Recovery crews looked for Hetzel all day Friday and into the evening.They resumed the search Saturday morning, searching urban and wooded areas. The teams combined covered 300 acres of Beavercreek.At the end of the day, volunteers left and a small combined team of NSI and OhioLandsar did one last search. The combined team found Hetzel, who was extremely dehydrated and exhausted.He was immediately given first aid and carried to the ambulance for transport to the local hospital. "We would like to thank all the teams and volunteers that came out to help. Without all the volunteers we would have never narrowed the search areas down to the location where he was found," officials with North Star International K9 Search and Recovery said in a Facebook post.
