What are Joe Burrow’s odds to lead the NFL in passing yards in 2021?

BetOnline.ag recently released its odds for the league leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards for the upcoming NFL season.

Looking to bet on a Cincinnati Bengal to take home a yardage crown? Expect some long odds and a hefty potential payout.

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow (9) rolls out of the pocket as Tennessee Titans outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney (99) gives chase during the first quarter of a Week 8 NFL football game, Sunday, Nov. 1, 2020, at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati.

Joe Burrow to lead the NFL in passing yards (+2000)

Burrow has the 10th-highest odds to take home the passing crown next season, offering a 20-to-1 payout (a $50 bet would win $1,000).

Burrow finished No. 23 in passing last season with just 2,688 yards after suffering a season-ending knee injury in Week 11 against Washington. He did finish No. 7 in yards-per-game (268.8) and was on pace for over 4,400 passing yards after nine games, which would've put him at No. 6 at season's end.

The second-year signal-caller has the highest odds of any quarterback in the AFC North with Ben Roethlisberger at +2200 and Baker Mayfield and Lamar Jackson each at +2500.

No Bengals quarterback has led the NFL in passing yards since Ken Anderson went back-to-back in 1974 and 1975.

Joe Mixon to lead the NFL in rushing yards (+1600)

A foot injury kept Joe Mixon out of the final 10 games of the 2020 season. He finished with 428 yards and three touchdowns on 119 attempts. Mixon currently holds the 10th-highest odds to lead the league in rushing yards in 2021 at a 16-to-1 payout.

Before an injury-plagued 2020 season, Mixon did produce back-to-back 1,100-yard campaigns as the full-time starter in 2018 and 2019.
