Sunday weather planner: Morning fog makes way for hazy sunshine; Air Quality Alert in effect
NEED TO KEEP THAT IN MIND TODAY. DENSE FOG ADVISORY ALSO IN PLACE UNTIL 9:00 THIS MORNING FOR PLACES WEST OF THE EAST OF THE 275 LOOP. A GRAY SHADED AREAS THERE. SO VISIBILITY AROUND A QUARTER MILE OR LESS THROUGH THE MID-MORNING HOURS. TODAY WE GET 87 FOR THE HIGH. AGAIN, THAT’LL BE A FILTERED SUNSHINE AND FOR US. SO THE SUN IS GOING TO COME OUT AFTER THAT FOG CLEARS AND WE’RE LOOKING AT WARM CONDITIONS TODAY. HUMIDITY WILL ALSO DROP AS WE HEAD TOWARDS THIS EVENING. SO GOOD NEWS THERE AS WE HEAD THROUGH THE SECOND HALF OF THE DAY. DEFINITELY GOING TO FEEL STICKY WITH THAT FOG TO START. BUT THINGS MUCH MORE REFRESHING BEHIND THIS COLD FRONT HERE AS WE HEAD THROUGH THE NEXT 12 HOURS. SO HUMIDITY DROPPING. BUT AGAIN, BECAUSE THE WINDS HAVE TURNED TO THE WEST, WE’RE GOING TO START TO PULL IN THAT WILDFIRE SMOKE IN THE AIR QUALITY IS GOING TO GO DOWN. WE HAVE THAT AIR QUALITY OUT ALERT OUT THROUGH MONDAY. FOR THE GRAY SHADED AREAS HERE, THAT DOES INCLUDE GREATER CINCINNATI. AGAIN, IF YOU’RE SENSITIVE TO THAT TYPE OF THING, DEFINITELY WANT TO LIMIT YOUR TIME OUTSIDE. MAYBE HEAD OUT EARLY IN THE MORNING OR, EVEN LATE IN THE EVENING WHEN THERE’S LESS FOLKS DRIVING. BUT YOU CAN SEE HERE WILDFIRE SMOKE COMING IN OVER NEXT COUPLE OF HOURS HERE IS VERY PRESENT BY THE LATE MORNING, EARLY AFTERNOON STICKS AROUND THROUGH TOMORROW, MAKING IT A LITTLE BIT OF A BREAK. THERE BEFORE AN ADDITIONAL PUSH COMES IN. AS WE HEAD MONDAY NIGHT INTO THE FIRST PART OF TUESDAY. NOT QUITE AS HEAVY AS WHAT WE’RE SEEING THIS MORNING, BUT IT’S AT LEAST PRESENT THROUGH THE FIRST PART OF TUESDAY BEFORE IT LOOKS LIKE THINGS START TO IMPROVE A LITTLE BIT FOR US AS WE HEAD INTO TUESDAY AFTERNOON. TONIGHT, 67 FOR THE OVERNIGHT LOW CLOUDS WILL BE INCREASING IN THOSE CLOUDS, BRINGING US A FEW SHOWERS AND STORMS LATE. THAT’S PRIMARILY AFTER MIDNIGHT. SO WE’RE GETTING BACK TO THAT ACTIVE PATTERN AGAIN. AND THAT’S NOT GOING TO CHANGE AS WE HEAD INTO TOMORROW. 83 FOR THE HIGH FOR MONDAY. WE’RE LOOKING AT SOME SCATTERED STORMS A LITTLE BIT MORE HUMID AS WE HEAD THROUGH THE DAYTIME. I THINK THAT MOISTURE STARTING TO CREEP BACK UP ONCE MORE AS WE HEAD THROUGH TOMORROW AND EVEN INTO YOUR TUESDAY. SO FUTURE CARS TODAY. ALSO THE FOG CLEARING OUT AS WE HEAD THROUGH TEN BY 3:00 TODAY, MAYBE JUST A COUPLE OF PASSING CLOUDS. OTHERWISE MAINLY SUNNY, HAZY SKIES AS WE GO THROUGH TONIGHT, 6:00, YOU CAN SEE SOME SHOWERS UP TO THE NORTH HERE ALONG I-70 AND WE’RE LOOKING AT OUR CHANCE FOR SHOWERS INCREASE AS WE HEAD PAST MIDNIGHT. SO SOME SCATTERED STORMS PAST MIDNIGHT, I WOULD SAY BY 3:00. WE’RE LOOKING AT SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. THOSE CONTINUE TO MOVE EASTWARD. SO A FEW DOWNPOURS OVERNIGHT TONIGHT. AND I THINK MOST OF US HERE STARTING HERE MONDAY, COMMUTE OUT ON A DRY NOTE. A COUPLE OF SHOWERS POSSIBLE, ESPECIALLY EAST OF CINCINNATI, BUT IT LOOKS LIKE AN ADDITIONAL ROUND OF STORMS LIKELY AS WE HEAD PAST 3:00 ON MONDAY. SO BETWEEN THREE AND SIX MORE SCATTERED STORMS DEVELOPING, SOME DOWNPOURS. COUPLE OF THOSE STORMS MAYBE STRONG. MUCH LIKE YESTERDAY. COULD SEE A LITTLE BIT OF HAIL, SOME GUSTY WINDS. WE DRY OUT BY 9:00. YOU’RE 70 AND FORECAST BRINGS PRETTY NICE WEATHER FOR TUESDAY, 85 DEGREES, ISOLATED OF SHOWERS AND STORMS INTO WEDNESDAY. THURSDAY NOT ENOUGH COVERAGE TO WARRANT A WEATHER IMPACT DAY, BUT I WOULD KEEP THE UMBRELLA WITH YOU JUST IN CASE YOU RUN INTO ONE OF THOSE SHOWERS OR STORMS WHEN YOU’RE OUT AND ABOUT IN WHATEVER YOU NEED TO DO. WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING DOES GET HOT AGAIN AS YOU THROUGH THURSDAY. I THINK WE’RE GOING TO BE BACK THE HIGH EIGHTIES TO NEAR 90. AND THEN FOR FRIDAY SATURDAY SEASONAB
