Free-agent defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi signed a one-year deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers, the team announced Tuesday.
In March, Ogunjobi thanked Cincinnati for his one season with the Bengals after playing his first four NFL seasons for the Cleveland Browns. Ogunjobi started all 16 games in which he played for Cincinnati during the 2021 season, in addition to the Bengals' first playoff game.
Ogunjobi was expected to sign a three-year, $40.5 million deal with the Chicago Bears in March. But the Bears announced days later that they weren't signing Ogunjobi because he failed a physical.

Ogunjobi had a fumble recovery after Trey Hendrickson's strip-sack of Raiders quarterback Derek Carr to set up a field goal by Evan McPherson during the Bengals' playoff win against Las Vegas.
Ogunjobi was injured later in the game - carted off the field with a foot injury during the third quarter. The Bengals placed him on injured reserve.
Conway wrote in March that it was unlikely the Bengals were going to be able to re-sign Ogunjobi because of the market price, making their move to re-sign DT B.J. Hill an important one.
