Larry Ogunjobi signs one-year deal with Pittsburgh Steelers

Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi (65) tackles Kansas City Chiefs running back Darrel Williams (31) in the first quarter during a Week 17 NFL game, Sunday, Jan. 2, 2022, at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati.

Free-agent defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi signed a one-year deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers, the team announced Tuesday.

In March, Ogunjobi thanked Cincinnati for his one season with the Bengals after playing his first four NFL seasons for the Cleveland Browns. Ogunjobi started all 16 games in which he played for Cincinnati during the 2021 season, in addition to the Bengals' first playoff game.

Ogunjobi was expected to sign a three-year, $40.5 million deal with the Chicago Bears in March. But the Bears announced days later that they weren't signing Ogunjobi because he failed a physical.
