British pop-rock band The 1975 will make a stop in Newport this December at PromoWest Pavilion at Ovation, part of its "At Their Very Best" world tour.
Presale tickets for the Dec. 16 show go on sale beginning Aug. 9 at 10 a.m. through 10 p.m., Aug. 11. General tickets go on sale Aug. 12 at 10 a.m.

According to the ticket website, regular tickets will range from $69.50-$150. Per the site, there is a strict four-ticket limit per show, and additional orders exceeding the limit may be canceled without notice.
Known for their songs "Somebody Else," "Chocolate" and "Robbers," among others, The 1975 last appeared in Cincinnati at the PNC Pavilion in 2019. The band consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Matthew "Matty" Healy, lead guitarist Adam Hann, bassist Ross MacDonald and drummer George Daniel.
