With Bengals backup quarterback Brandon Allen being evaluated for a concussion after a hit, Jake Browning got more playing time during the first half of Friday's preseason opener against the Arizona Cardinals than many expected, and scrambled under pressure before tossing an impressive 23-yard completion to Kendric Pryor, who made an outstanding catch.
Video via Twitter from @NFL:
Browning finished the first half 6-of-13 for 96 passing yards. Allen was 3-for-3 with 29 yards. Each quarterback was sacked once. A fumbled exchange between center Trey Hill and Browning set up an Arizona touchdown drive.
