We tried McDonald’s new adult Happy Meals. Here’s what we thought

McDonald's collaborated with Cactus Plant Flea Market to release limited-edition Happy Meals for adults. We tried some to see what prizes were inside.

In our daily morning meeting, staff of The Enquirer began discussing the most newsworthy of topics: the adult Happy Meals that recently became available at McDonald's.

The limited-edition Happy Meals are a result of a partnership between the fast food restaurant and Cactus Plant Flea Market, and they feature collectible toys of some of McDonald's mascots, including Grimace and the Hamburglar. The meals launched Monday and are available while supplies last.

Considering this major moment in history, we, obviously, had to try them out for ourselves. I volunteered to trek to the McDonald's close to our Downtown office (across the river in Covington) and get four meals – two 10-piece Chicken McNuggets and two Big Macs – for our staff to try.

And because this is 2022, we also made a TikTok about it.
