Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow spoke during his latest appearance on "The Colin Cowherd Podcast" about everything from confidence facing the Atlanta Falcons to his TV-watching habits, in addition to his competitive nature, the NFL rule he would change, Ohio University's annual Halloween celebration, other teams' uniforms, his chemistry with Ja'Marr Chase and more.
Burrow's first memory from an NFL game might surprise you, in that it wasn't football-related.
Burrow was seven years old on Feb. 1, 2004, when Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake performed a duet of "Rock Your Body" during the Super Bowl 38 halftime show in Houston. When Timberlake sang, "Gonna have you naked by the end of this song," and ripped off a piece of her clothing, Jackson's breast was exposed, and CBS cut to commercial.
It was dubbed the "wardrobe malfunction," among other things.
"What is your earliest television NFL memory?" Cowherd asked Burrow.
"Oh, the Super Bowl halftime show with Justin Timberlake, and when he … disrobed that woman - I can't remember who it was," Burrow answered. "I can't remember how old I was. That's my first memory associated with football, I think. NFL football, at least. Yeah, (my) parents weren't super, super excited that I was able to see that."
"Yeah, well Midwest family - good traditional values - they don't want that nonsense on their television," Cowherd said.
"No, they don't," Burrow said.
On Wednesday, the Bengals shared four minutes of Burrow miked up during his team's win this past Sunday against the Falcons.
