Former University of Cincinnati Bearcats standout Sean Kilpatrick signed with the Chinese Basketball Association's Fujian Sturgeons, according to several tweets Wednesday night that were retweeted from Kilpatrick's account.
Kilpatrick, who played for the Bearcats from 2010 to 2014 and finished with 2,145 points (second in school history to Oscar Robertson's 2,973), signed with Israel's Hapoel Jerusalem in Aug. 2021. He finished the season with Zaragoza in Spain.
Kilpatrick played previously in Turkey and Montenegro. In 2019, Kilpatrick's Panathinaikos team - coached by Rick Pitino - won the Greek League title with a sweep of Promitheas Patras - featuring Kilpatrick's former UC teammate, Octavius Ellis.
Kilpatrick last played in the NBA in 2018 for the Chicago Bulls. He also has played for the Los Angeles Clippers, Milwaukee Bucks, Brooklyn Nets, Denver Nuggets and Minnesota Timberwolves.
