A water main replacement in Butler County requires a weeklong closure on a busy road in Wayne Township. According to the Butler County Engineer's Office, Oxford Middletown Road will close between State Route 503 and Cotton Run Road on Monday, June 26, while crews from the Southwest Regional Water District replace a water main. Officials say the road will be closed to all through traffic and is tentatively scheduled to reopen on Saturday, July 1. During the closure, eastbound traffic on Oxford Middletown Road will detour north on State Route 503, east on State Route 744, and south on Cotton Run Road.An alternate detour will be available via north on State Route 503, east on Tolbert Road, and north on Cotton Run Road.
