The Cincinnati Bengals teased white helmets were coming this season a week ago. On Tuesday morning, the team unveiled the date in which the team will wear the new white helmets.
Cincinnati will debut their new white helmets with their white uniforms on Sept. 29 when the Bengals host the Miami Dolphins on Thursday Night Football. This is also the game the club will honor its newest Ring of Honor members, Isaac Curtis and Willie Anderson.
For Thursday Night Football in 2016, the Bengals debuted their Color Rush uniforms for the first time against the Dolphins. They'll complete the "White Bengal" look with the long awaited white helmets. The Bengals had to inform the league of their plans to add a new helmet by July 2021, so the process has been in motion for more than a year now.
