Desmond Ridder finished his Cincinnati Bearcats career with 44 wins - third-most by a quarterback in college football history - and went 26-0 at Nippert Stadium, leading UC to its first-ever College Football Playoff appearance in school history.
Ridder told NFL Network's Tom Pelissero that he believes he did enough at UC to prove that he deserves to be drafted first among quarterbacks available in the 2022 NFL Draft.

NFL.com's Daniel Jeremiah has four quarterbacks - Pitt's Kenny Pickett, Liberty's Malik Willis, Ole Miss' Matt Corral and North Carolina's Sam Howell - among his top 50 NFL Draft prospects.
ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. said last week that Ridder is the quarterback with the most to prove at the NFL scouting combine.
Dan Hoard, the radio play-by-play voice of the Bearcats and the Cincinnati Bengals, tweeted in February that his greatest fear is that Ridder will be selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the draft.
Ridder threw two touchdown passes in the Senior Bowl.
