A Union Township-based company is creating 125 jobs in Boone County, Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear announced Thursday.
Total Quality Logistics, a freight brokerage firm, is the largest privately held company based in the Cincinnati region, according to the 2021 Deloitte Cincinnati USA 100 list. The company is adding 525 jobs across its Lexington, Louisville and Boone County offices, nearly doubling the staffing at its Northern Kentucky location.
The new jobs created will range from entry-level to senior roles in sales, customer service and operations. Jobs posted on TQL's website pay up to $16 an hour for entry-level positions and don't have listed salary ranges for senior-level roles.
The Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority preliminarily approved three 10-year incentive agreements with TQL based on the creation and retention of jobs.
“We have had a presence in the Commonwealth of Kentucky for over a decade,” said TQL President Kerry Byrne in a press release. “We appreciate the collaboration of state and local leaders of Lexington, Louisville and Northern Kentucky to help us grow to new heights and are committed to expansion in the state.”
