Cincinnati.com is on a mission – again – to find Cincinnati’s Favorite Beer.
Last year's winner was the Bohemian Special Brew from Geo. Wiedemann Brewing Company, aka Wiedemann's Fine Beer. The brew joined previous champions Backbeat Coffee Blonde Ale from Big Ash Brewing (2020) and Gavel Banger from Taft's Brewing Company (2019) as winners of the coveted trophy.
Who will take home all the glory this year? Well, that's entirely up to you, dear beer voter!
Ready!? VOTE HERE. (If you're on a mobile device, be patient, it might take a minute to load. Or try visiting bitly.com/CincyBeerNoms on your desktop.)
Here's how it works
Using the beer site Untappd (or suggestions from the breweries themselves), we rounded up the five most popular brews at all our local breweries. When the nomination round begins on Monday, Feb. 21, you will vote for your faves at the breweries you know and love. We encourage you to go try the selections from the breweries you don't know, come back and vote for your newfound loves.
When the nomination round ends on Sunday, Feb. 27, we will take your top 32 picks (limit 2 per brewery), seed the winners by vote totals, and plug them into our NCAA Tournament-style bracket. You'll then be able to vote for winners, round by round, until we reach the finals and crown a new winner on Sunday, March 27.
The fun part is the research. You can begin that at any time. Go explore!
