A western Kentucky woman has been arrested more than a year after the U.S. Capitol breach on charges that she used pepper spray on police trying to secure the area.Shelly Stallings, 42, was charged with federal offenses that include assaulting, resisting or impeding certain officers using a dangerous weapon, civil disorder, and entering and remaining in a restricting building or grounds with a deadly or dangerous weapon, according to an update from the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia.Stallings was arrested Wednesday in connection with the riot that happened Jan. 6 at the U.S. Capitol as lawmakers were certifying the results of the presidential election.According to federal investigators, Stallings and another person, Markus Maly of Virginia, were named as additional defendants in an indictment that was handed down that already included two other defendants.
