Cincinnati Bengals host pep rally before heading to Super Bowl

When Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow took the microphone at Monday night’s Super Bowl Opening Night Fan Rally at Paul Brown Stadium, he could only get a few sentences out before his speech was drowned out by the crowd.

“I’m honored to be the quarterback for such a great organization and the best fans in the world,” Burrow said.

It’s all that the fans needed to hear. The 30,000 fans who stood in the cold at Paul Brown Stadium started chanting, “MVP.”

To kick off Super Bowl week, the Bengals hosted a pep rally to send the Bengals off to Los Angeles. Former Bengals David Fulcher, Tim Krumrie, Max Montoya, Willie Anderson and Ken Anderson described why they saw the Bengals as the Super Bowl champion.
