Two displaced after attic fire in Hyde Park home, officials say


Two people were displaced following a fire at a house in Hyde Park on Saturday morning, according to the Cincinnati Police Department.Firefighters were called to the house in the 3600 block of Edwards Road around 4:45 a.m.The fire department said firefighters arrived and found a fire in the attic of a single-family home.Officials said the fire was quickly extinguished but firefighters had to open walls to extinguish any remaining fire.No one was injured in the fire. The damage is estimated at $50,000.Officials believe the cause of the fire was electrical. No smoke detectors were found.
