On Dec. 10, Vinoklet Winery, Restaurant and Vineyard picked up a normal check to receive a huge surprise: a visiting couple had left a $7,000 tip.
Vinoklet, in Colerain Township, posted a picture of the check Monday, which raised the $112 tab to a staggering $7,112, and said the tip was shared between the team.
"We wanted to thank a local couple that Blessed our staff with a very generous tip on Friday evening," they wrote in a Facebook post. "Due to their generosity, our team will be able to share the blessing they received with their families this holiday season. Thank you so much, God Bless You! Vinoklet Winery Staff!"
The couple, whom the winery did not name, lives in the Cincinnati community, according to an email to The Enquirer.
