Lakota West senior Jyaire Brown to be honored as 2022 All-American

Lakota West defensive back Jyaire Brown will be officially honored as a 2022 All-American during a virtual jersey presentation Wednesday as part of the 13th episode of the Road to the Dome digital series. 

Brown will play in the 22nd All-American Bowl as part of the annual East vs. West matchups in the Alamodome, San Antonio, Texas. The Bowl will be nationally televised on NBC and will feature the nation's top 100 high school football players. Brown was selected by the All-American Bowl Selection Committee, consisting of the All-American Bowl and 247Sports.

Each All-American is eligible for the All-American Bowl Player of the Year Award, the Anthony Munoz Lineman of the Year Award, the Defensive Player of the Year Award, the All-American Bowl Man of the Year and the All-American Bowl MVP.

Brown was a first-team All-Ohio selection by both the media and the Southwest Ohio Football Coaches Association as a junior in 2020. This fall, he helped Lakota West win a league title and reach the Division I regional championship game
