Cincinnati police say one person was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Interstate 75 early Saturday morning.
The crash occurred on I-75 south at the 8.5 mile marker after a passenger vehicle struck the rear of a semi-truck parked on the right shoulder, according to a news release.
Officials said the driver of the passenger vehicle, who hasn't been identified, died of his injuries at the scene. The driver of the semi-truck wasn't injured.
The interstate was closed for several hours, with traffic being diverted to Paddock Road. At 8:31 a.m., police reported I-75 south had reopened.
