Here’s the roadmap to the state football finals for local teams

COLUMBUS - The Ohio High School Athletic Association has released the football state semifinal bracket pairings for Nov. 26-27. The first four rounds of the playoffs follow the regional brackets, while the OHSAA then determines the state semifinal brackets, mainly based on geography.

In Southwest Ohio, seven teams remain alive with regional finals Friday. Any team advancing would play Friday, Nov. 26 when Divisions I-IV play. Divisions V-VII play Saturday nights and there are no local teams remaining in those divisions.

The state semifinal bracket pairings are set for four of the seven divisions. The state semifinal bracket pairings for the other three divisions are dependent on which teams advance.
