In a vote that ended Nov. 19, Cincinnati.com readers selected the Cincinnati Enquirer Athletes of the Week, presented by Mercy Health, from high school sports action through Nov. 14.
Winners through Oct. 1 should have received a certificate through the school's athletic department. The next round will come out in a few weeks.

Here are this week's top choices:
Ohio football team: Western Brown – The Western Brown Broncos improved to 11-2 after beating Jackson 35-28.
Northern Kentucky football team: Bishop Brossart – Bishop Brossart improved to 12-0, beating Nicholas County 36-0. The Mustangs have outscored opponents 305-56 in 2021.
Boys team: Wyoming boys soccer - Wyoming junior Louie Trenkamp connected on a header from close range with 2:51 to go in regulation, the only goal Wyoming needed to defeat Bay Village Bay 1-0 in the OHSAA Division II state championship game Saturday at Lower.com Field. It was the school's first-ever soccer title.
Football player, Ohio Division I: Emoni Steele, Princeton – The senior ran for 126 yards on 9 attempts and scored a touchdown in the 28-21 loss to Moeller in the Nov. 12 regional semifinals.
Football player, Ohio Division II: K.C. Spears, Winton Woods – He ran for 228 yards on 8 attempts and scored 5 touchdowns in the 42-25 win over La Salle Nov. 12 in the Division II regional semifinals. He also had 11 receiving yards in one attempt and had 3 punts for a total of 131 yards.
Football player, Ohio small school: Jack Suttles, McNicholas – The senior tight end and linebacker led the team in tackles with 12, three of which were solo, in the 33-14 win over Eaton Nov. 12 in the regional semifinals.
Northern Kentucky/Indiana big school football player: Preston Agee, Covington Catholic – He threw for 117 yards and rushed for 127 and two scores in CovCath’s 35-14 win over Conner to clinch a 5A district championship.
Northern Kentucky/Indiana small school football player: Jacob Leicht, Bishop Brossart – He rushed for 220 yards and a touchdown in Brossart’s 36-0 win over Nicholas County to improve to 12-0 and win a 1A district championship.
Boys soccer player: Louie Trenkamp, Wyoming – The junior connected on a header with 2:51 to go in regulation to score the only goal Wyoming needed to defeat Bay Village Bay 1-0 in the OHSAA Division II state championship game Saturday at Lower.com Field.
Girls soccer player: Ava Yunker, Wyoming — Her first goal of the season couldn’t have come at a better time as she netted the ball with 19 minutes left in regulations, lifting the Cowboys to a 1-0 win over Bexley in the state semifinal win Nov. 9.
Volleyball player: Sammi Hoffman, Roger Bacon — The senior setter ended Saturday’s DII state final with 38 assists, 16 digs and five aces in five sets against Gilmour Academy. In the state semifinal against Bishop Hartley, Hoffman had 46 assists, nine digs and four aces.
