I have developed a great recipe for Cincinnati Style Chili. Its easy and I demonstrate the recipe for 2 lbs and 14 lbs of chili. The written recipe is on thisgirlcandoitall.com
I made this the other night and it was delicious. Next time I make it I'm going to use the Instant Pot and maybe just use 1/4 tsp of ground cloves for a 2 lb. batch. Thanks for the recipe!
This recipe is almost identical to mine, I use half the tomato paste you do, less cloves and less chili powder, I add a little cider vinegar too. I go for onion powder because I want no chunks, I guess pureeing the onions would work. Looks awesome!
No nutmeg / mace? That's prominent in skyline taste. I leave out the chili powder and use paprika – it's in the ingredients list on the can. I also skip the chocolate, I don't think it's in skyline. Lastly, need saltine crackers for the yeast flavor.
I wanted to come to give you some kudos – I tried your recipe last evening and it was wonderful. I did use the heaping scoops of spices like you suggested, all except the black pepper. It was nice and dark and oh so good. I did 2lb of meat, simmered it for 1-1/2 hours. Freshly grated mild cheddar like the chili shops use. This is going to be my go-to for Cincinnati style chili from now on, and so darn simple to make. Thank you!

I had to type the name of the Cincinnati Style Chili then I got the recipe, but I couldn’t find a way to print.

At last. Someone who knows that authentic Cincinnati chili always uses boiled beef.

I couldn't tell how many batches you were making. Why didn't you mention it? ;)
Seriously, it looks like a great recipe. I've got to try it.
Thanks !
This is the most accurate recipe I've found. Amazing, thanks.
Could you please tell me what size pot you're using? It looks perfect for what I need. Thanks.
Might be the biggest fail on YouTube…
When she says batches I think she means a batch is 1pd she kept saying 7 batches so maybe she meant 7 pds of hamburger
This was nothing but amazing!!
i see you have gfs are you in ohio?? thank you
That should be enough to last me 2 days
This is a GREAT VIDEO. Thank you for sharing making this now. Also I'm going to subscribe!

No tarula yeast? They list that as an ingredient in Skyline. That is a great source of MSG like glutamic acid!
Looks like the recipe is not available on her website, here are the ingredients:
2 lbs ground chuck
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cloves
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp allspice
2 bay leaves
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp cocoa powder
5 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp salt
1 onion, chopped
12 oz tomato paste
I tried Skyline chili three times and thought it was bad stuff all three times.
I understand the boiled hamburger. I make sloppy joes and hot dog chili sauce that way.
It looks so yummy.
Loved it.

Cheaper than going to Kroger for the cans
So Skyline clones never use vinegar, cumin, worchestshire, or cayenne?
A little too clove-y. But still good
Love the deadpan approach to crapload of what looks to be really good chili. I'm saving this video for a vacation day. Thanks girl!
You my friend… i think NAILED the recipe. I knew there was cocoa powder in there! I always tasted a mole blended with eastern taste.
