Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Sam Hubbard's second-quarter sack of Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson was the 17th of the season for the Bengals, matching the team's 2020 sack total.
Trey Hendrickson, who entered Sunday leading the Bengals with 5 1/2 sacks this season, recorded another - the Bengals' 18th of the season - with about 8 minutes left in the third quarter of the 41-17 win.
Hubbard added another sack - the Bengals' 19th of 2021 - later in the third quarter.
Defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi also had a first-half sack for the Bengals, and Ogunjobi and Hubbard shared another sack.
Social media reactions:
"Lamar Jackson is taking a lot of hits - I mean a lot of significant hits," analyst and former Bengals quarterback Boomer Esiason said during CBS' halftime show. "Normally when he's running the ball, he does not take those hits. But now he's trying to make plays down the field."
"They're good up front, they've got a good secondary and they're creative," analyst Phil Simms added. "So you put all that together - that's why this Bengal defense is playing so well."
