Cincinnati Bearcats running back Jerome Ford scored his fourth touchdown of the first half of Saturday's game against Central Florida with 2:53 left in the second quarter, giving UC a 35-0 lead with the extra point.
Ford had 176 rushing yards on 16 carries in the first half, adding one catch for 23 yards - for a combined 199 yards for the Alabama transfer and Tampa native.
"(He's) just a very impressive, complete back right now," ABC color analyst Dan Orlovsky said after Ford's fourth score. "Can't give him enough praise. (We) talked about how tough of a player he is. How physical, how explosive he is. I did not know he had such great vision. ... He should be in the Heisman conversation as well as Desmond Ridder."
Ford finished UC's 56-21 win with 189 rushing yards on 20 carries. His third touchdown of the game came on a 79-yard run.
